Since May 15, 2023, Alternative Leadership Group (ALG) member Beatrice
AMOUZOU has been taking part in Accra in the 43rd cohort of a sub-regional training
program called YALI.
The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) is a U.S. State Department program for young African leaders, citizens and residents of 09 West African countries - Ghana, Nigeria, Côte d'Ivoire, Cameroon, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Gambia, Burkina Faso and Togo - who are ready to assume leadership and work hard to transform their communities. For this cohort, there were a total of 108 participants from 09 African countries. The program offers training in three main areas:
- Entrepreneurship for emerging or budding entrepreneurs,
- Public policy management, for those aspiring to work at government level,
- Leadership, for those aspiring to work in civil society.
Beyond the Mandela Washington Fellowship, YALI Network, YALI is implemented in Africa in 04 countries, namely Kenya (Nairobi), South Africa (Pretoria), Senegal (Dakar) and Ghana (Accra), which is in its 43rd Cohort.
We wish a fruitful participation to all beneficiaries.
